This may not be the biggest release week of the year, but there is something new to play regardless of the platform you prefer.
If you’re in the market for a new VR adventure this week, this may be the article for you. The pickin’s may be slim, but there is a little something for everyone. First up is VZfit for the Oculus Quest. This is a fitness game that utilizes a subscription model. You can ride your bike, elliptical, or run through over 10 million miles of roads through google street view. VZfit releases April 15 and features a free trial before the monthly subscription kicks in.
Next up is Forest Farm. This one is coming to PC early access on April 15 and looks to bring the farm simulator craze to VR. You can cut down trees, mill your own timber, plant your own crops, and much more. If things go well, developer Nic Schuber hopes to bring the full release on June 16th.
And last, but definitely not least, is ALVO on PSVR. ALVO is a 5v5 online shooter developed for PSVR and Oculus. It features three game modes: Free4All, Search and Destroy, and Team DeathMatch. Customize your guns, gear, and character with a variety of unique skins and equipment. This one has been a loooong time coming, and one I’ve been excited about for years. It releases on April 13 for the PSVR with Aim controller support. We don’t have a release date for the Oculus Quest and Rift but hopefully, it’s soon.
