The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Horde Mode “The Trial” Out Now on Oculus Quest

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is easily one of my favourite VR games to date, and today, it gets a little bit better with a free content drop that brings a brand new horde mode to the headset.

The Trial is a horde mode where players are dumped into a set area and tasked with surviving for as long as possible. You’ll still have to manage your stamina while you’re poking knives into the heads of walkers, and it’s not easy by a long shot.

I gave the PSVR version a run today and failed hard. The Quest version should be a little better, though, with the more refined controls. Still, all platforms are lacking one crucial feature: co-op gameplay. It’s not a feature yet, but here’s hoping that the developers will work their magic a little more so that Jez and I can hold each other and scream as we get torn apart by hungry dead people…

The Trials is out now on Oculus Quest and it’s a free download. If you haven’t got the update yet, check your app for the latest version. If you still don’t have it, you’re just going to have to wait for the update to roll out in your region. The update is a 2.52GB download, so make sure you’ve got the space.

If you’ve not played The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners yet (what is wrong with you?!?!?) check out our review down below.
