Wolf & Pigs: Out for Vengeance is a VR Shooter That Turns the Three Little Piggies into Big Bad Bosses

We’re all familiar with the tale of the three pigs and the wolf. Spoiler alert, the Wolf is the bad guy and, depending on which version you were told as a kid, he ends up munching a couple of pigs.

Not anymore. The developers behind Wolf & Pigs: Out for Vengeance have turned the classic tale on its head, making the three little piggies the big bad bosses of the New World. The Pig Brothers are notorious gangsters, feared across the lands by all, and they’re destroying and disfiguring nature to build a secret base. The “Big Bad Wolf” is portrayed as evil by the media, who have obviously been receiving kickbacks from the Pig Brothers. The “Big Bad Wolf” is anything but in this adventure. In fact, he’s the last defence that the world has, and the piggies are the actual bad guys.

Yes, it sounds a little nuts and silly, but it’s a fun twist on a universal classic and it’s instantly relatable.

The gameplay itself is a first-person shooter where you play as Wolf, the last survivor of the Wolf tribe. Wolf disappeared for some time and everyone thought he was dead, but he wasn’t. He’d spent some time away to upgrade his body with high-end prosthetic arms to fight back against the evil piggies.

VR shooters are a dime a dozen these days, but Wolf & Pigs aims to stand out from the crowd with its grappling mechanic. Using the grapple mechanic, you’ll be able to zip around the game world, going above and beyond the piggies to deliver the beat down with four unique weapons.

Wolf & Pigs: Out for Vengeance will release on PCVR headsets on Steam this May 13th. You can find the store page here if you want to add it to your wishlist.
