Pixel Ripped 1995 Coming to PC VR April 23, PSVR in May

Relive gaming in the ’90s with Pixel Ripped 1995, coming in just a few weeks. April 23 to be exact, assuming you have a PC headset. Our PlayStation VR friends will need to wait for sometime in May. The developer ARVORE assures us that Pixel Ripped 1995 has been sent to PlayStation for Q and A and certification. Assuming all goes well with that (never a sure thing), they expect it to be available on the PlayStation store in May.

The sequel to Pixel Ripped 1989 will once again take gamers back in time. Just as systems were evolving from 16-bit to 32-bit, first-generation console players are evolving from teens to young adults, and our hero Dot will need to recruit young David if they want to save the universe in this “game inside a game”. Pixel Ripped 1995 will take place both inside and outside your video game screens as Dot and David try to survive in this 2D and 3D world.

You can grab this on the Quest, Rift, and the Steam store first, on April 23rd, with the PSVR version hopefully coming in May. And check out the official launch trailer up above if you aren’t convinced.
