Pure PSVR Plays: Week 16 – Love is in VR

Valentine’s Day has, unfortunately, decided to fall on a Friday this year, which means we’re looking at a full weekend of Valentine’s promotions online and in real life. Honestly, you can’t walk down the street without some garish Valentine’s promotion, whether it’s a bakery or a shoe store, it’s being rammed down our throats.

Look, I’ve nothing against showing the love, but let me do it on my own time. Am I being harsh? Maybe. Maybe like Danny Glover, I’m simply too old for this shit. Thankfully, video games are a safe haven away from the ghastly pinks and minging heart-shaped donuts. Here’s what we’re doing this weekend:

I’m sick again. Same shit, different weekend! I’ll be spending my weekend staring at my calendar, counting down the days until flu season is gone. When I’m not staring at the June and July, I’ll be playing some games. What games? I’ve no idea. I’ve struggled to stick to any one game recently. I’ve been playing GTA V, Saints Row 4, and Red Dead Redemption 2, so it’s likely it’ll be a rotation of those three.

When I can pull myself away from my husbandly duties this holiday weekend, I’ll be continuing my journey through the wastelands of Mutant Year Zero via the DLC. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel and instead focuses on simply adding more of what made the main game so much fun to play. On the VR side of things, I’m still scavenging the city of New Orleans, looking for supplies and fresh zombie heads to cut off in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. I don’t know where I’m going to find the time, but I have to jump into Insomniac’s Stormland. The Oculus exclusive shooter is currently on sale and I just couldn’t pass it up. So far it’s pretty damn good.
