It’s lucky week thirteen here at Pure PSVR headquarters and we are all celebrating the release of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. It’s been the sort of week where you just need to jam a screwdriver into the juicy skull of a zombie that looks like it could be your boss if he let himself go. I’m mostly kidding, but that’s what we’re playing this weekend.
The prerelease videos of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, looked promising, but I for one was still skeptical. I mean, games based on movies or shows don’t have a great track record. Plus the show isn’t what it once was, but so far I’m blown away by the game. It’s no secret that this game is going to be taking up my time this weekend and beyond. If my colleague Chris is feeling up to it, we’ll hopefully get a few rounds of Onward VR in too.
I’ve been struck down with a case of man-flu, again! Alas, thanks to modern narcotics and my local doctor (dealer) I will be feeling right as rain come Saturday night, so expect to find me in one of my VR headsets. I’ve got Eclipse: Edge of Light on PSVR to review, and I fully intend to get so immersed in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners that I come out of it with a true fear of zombies. And, if time allows, some Onward VR and other shooty-bang-bang games. I’m also doing my fair share of playing at work using the Xbox Console Streaming app on my phone. It works well and it’s a great way to play some simple games like LEGO Harry Potter when I’m away from home.
