Contagion VR: Outbreak Finally Passed Sony’s Requirements for PSVR Release

According to the game’s official Twitter account, Contagion VR: Outbreak has passed Sony’s rigorous requirements and is finally ready for release. Currently, the game is available as an early access title for Vive, Oculus Rift, and WMR from developer Monochrome Corp.

If you couldn’t tell by the title, Contagion VR: Outbreak is a first-person zombie shooter. It features a campaign that you can play through from multiple character’s point-of-view in a world that was built from the ground up for VR. There is also a Free Roam mode, where you can collect resources and craft new items while taking out zombies at your leisure. Because what is more leisurely than rekilling the undead?

No word on the official release dates for PSVR or PCVR but we expect the news very soon now that Sony has granted their approval. Check back soon for more news and a review as soon as we get our hands on this one.
